C.A.R.E. Program

We C.A.R.E. about teens!

That’s why we present the week-long C.A.R.E. (Character, Abstinence, Relationships, Education) Program in classrooms throughout Findlay and all of Hancock County. Our goal is to equip, empower and encourage teens with the truth.

Creative teaching tools allow for some fun interaction as we talk about relationship building, qualities of a good marriage, goal setting, refusal skills, how all parts of a person interact, differences between guys and girls, planning for the future, media influence, peer pressure, long-term consequences of decisions, and many other topics related to sexual choices.

Committed to medical accuracy, we discuss the reality that sex outside of marriage carries the risks of STI’s (sexually transmitted infections), pregnancy and emotional hurt. We challenge teens to reach their potentials for safe and healthy futures.

In addition, the C.A.R.E Program offers nationally-known assembly speakers, presenters for community groups and resources for students at the University of Findlay, in consumer science and life skills groups, and in at-risk programs.

We so appreciate being welcomed in the schools and the opportunity we have to talk with teens. If you would like to contact the C.A.R.E. staff (and we would love to hear from you!), please email us at care4teens@hotmail.com or call 419-424-9948.

We really do C.A.R.E.!
