About Us

Laurie TurnowWe're glad you came to the Women's Resource Center site today.  We hope you will allow us to serve you and better get to know you.

We realize that people (especially women!) are multi-dimensional and your needs might not be simple.  They may involve the spiritual, physical and the emotional parts of you.

Spiritually, we would love to talk with you about a relationship with Jesus Christ, the ultimate "need-meeter" who loves you and longs for you to know him.  Regardless of what you have experienced in the past, we hope you will be open to a spiritual dialogue.

Physically, we would like to help you contact the right agencies, churches, physicians or programs that will provide whatever it is you need to feel protected and provided for.

Emotionally, we would like to hear about the circumstances in your life that are causing the most stress as well as the things that bring you joy.  From there we could move to more structured dialogue, or mentoring, if you would be interested.  We are also able to offer counseling resources and referrals.  And we will always try to be good listeners as you share things from your life with us.

So, again, thanks for learning more "about us" and we hope to learn more "about you" sometime soon!
